Junior Mind Enhancement program
This is a really special initiative to look out for. After a great response last season we will running a follow-up session with Tim Affleck (Sports Psychologist). We will be offering, free of charge 2 programs in November. Details are:

- How to change thinking from negative to positive
- How to be a leader
- How to goal-set properly and realistically
Workshop 2
Tailored for parents/coaches to focus on
- Encouraging positive reinforcement
- Creating a positive atmosphere within a team
These are special sessions and have tremendous value not just for the cricket development of our junior players and Coaches but also for development of life skills.

Discounted use of Indoor nets
Hills indoor sports at Seven Hills has offered our Club a 10% discount on the indoor nets, run up lanes and bowling machines.
They are open 7 days and bookings can be done over the phone or online.

New website
Development work is proceeding with our new website. Our next review is in mid-June and it will be operational for the start of the 2024/25 season. The website will have a new look, be quicker and have all the latest social media capability integrated into the front-end.

Cricket Australia (CA) has released its important Women & Girls Action Plan – Women & Girls strategy= have a browse and be informed of the big plans CA has for female cricket.

- Stage 1 (7 to 11 years of age – no experience necessary) – Friday twilight Girls-only cricket (played in the Hornsby district)
Saturday (NSJCA)
- Cricket Blast (5 to 7 year olds for boys & girls);
- Stage 1 (a) – 7 to 11 years of age – new / a bit of experience. Saturday (played at local grounds and in the North Shore area
- Stage 1(b) – 10 to 11 years. Saturday afternoon home & away hardball
- Stage 2 & Stage 3 (ages 12 to 17 years of age) – Saturday afternoon Girls-only competitive cricket.
