Auluba Park -Sir David Martin Oval
History
Auluba Oval was the 1st ground to be in the association to have a synthetic pitch. It was a ‘Grasstex’ brand and laid in 1968. Prior to this pitches were a malthoid surface – sheets of a rolled tar like substance.
Achievements
- Andrew Driscoll (C1 Grade) – dropped 8 catches in one match during the mid 1980s.
- 21/10/2006 – Ben Nolan (B1) Vs Kissing Point took his 200th wicket
- 12/10/2006 & 28/10 2006 – Adam Walter took match figures of 11/70 (4/38 and 6/32) Vs Kissing Point. This is the 42nd time a bowler has taken 10 wickets or more in an innings
- 28/11/2015 – Allan Raffel (B1) scored his 3,000th career run Vs Kissing Point.
