History

Glenhaven was opened in 1894 but went into ruin in the early 1980’s. Upper Hiils CC renovated the grround during 1991/92 using fundsfrom the Association and NSWCA.

Achievements

• 1/11/2003 – Alistair Rayment (C2 Blue Vs Castle Hill took 8/17 including a hat-trick and 5 wickets in 7 balls
• 16/10/04 – C3 Club 6th wicket record partnership 107 – Joshua Demetriou (129) & Greg Lang (33) Vs Thornleigh
• 18/12/2004 – Nick McFarlane playing D1 (Vs Kenthurst) scored 60* and in doing so he the first 13 year old senior grade 50 – he is just 13 years old and played his debut innings in Seniors!
• 19/12/2009 – Vineet Suri (U13 Green Vs WPHC Red saw him take 6/0 off 4 overs against our Red side at Glenhaven and then back with 2/3 in the second innings.
• 27/2/10 & 6/3/2010 Claudio Van Blerk Vs Kenthurst scored 150*
• 25/9/2010 Andrew Mills scored his 2,500 runs Vs CHRSL @ Glenhaven
• 18/12/10 Nathan Fathers (C1) scored his 2,000th run against Castle Hill RSL
• 5/3/2011 – 7^th wicket D1 Grade record partnership – 141 runs between Niranjan Sundararaj 85* & Sekhar Varden 48 Vs Kissing Point
• 22/10/2011 – C1 Red scored 4/422 Vs Hornsby. There were many records broken:
  • Nathan Tripolone scored 186 which was our 368^th century & 6^th highest score
  • The Team score set a new C1 grade record and is the 2nd highest score in our history – missing out on the 494 scored by our B1 side in 1965/66 Vs Cowan. The next best is 436 by A1 Vs St Ives way back in 1951/52
  • The 4th wicket partnership 259 – Club record 4th wicket stand for all grades beating the previous record of 223 set by Glen Percival and Simon Davies in A1 Vs ARL in 2002/03
  • It is also a new Association 4th wicket C1 record beating the 248* set by M Brennan and b McFadden for Waitara Catholic Vs Glenorie District in 1969/70
  • It is the 3rd highest 4th wicket partnership in all Grades beaten only by:
    • 336 in A2 (1986/87)
    • 282 in B1 (2000/01)
    • 259 this record.
• 25/10/2014 – Nathan Fathers (C1) scored his 3,000th run Vs SKLPS.
