Story

• 16/12/2006 – being the last match before Christmas A1 was short. Bill Peterkin (A1), being the team man that he is, drove down from the Gold Coast to play(Vs Kenthurst). Unfortunately it was a short stay at the wicket. BP became the only person in Club history to drive 900km to make a golden duck!
• 22/9/2007 – Gavin Taylor (A1) was 15 years and 4 months when he took the field for A1 Vs Hornsby. Gav scored 9* in the top Grade and became our youngest player selected to start the season in A1 Grade.

Opened with a malthoid pitch. A turf square was laid in time for the 1969/79 season.

Achievements

• In the 1990/91 B2 Final (captained by David Carey) Beecroft slumped to 5/38 and 6/108 at lunch. At the close of their innings at Tea the next day they were all out for 725! A 427, 7th wicket partnership a record. To think, the batsman who scored 329 was missed being run out by millimetres for 0 from a direct hit (Steve Quodling).
  Many records were set:
  725 – the highest score in the Association’s history
  427 – highest 7th wicket partnership achieved in NSW
  329 – highest individual score by an individual in the Association It was 3 short of Victor Trumper’s NSW record score.
  1/135 – from 39 overs. The most expensive recorded Club bowling analysis (Mark Taylor).
• Our second A2 Premiership was won at this ground. The Team was: James Makin (C),Scott Henderson, Ranga Edwirikrama, Brad Hingle, Martin (Chopper) Boon, Leigh van Den Broeke, Matt Jobson, Michael Banner, Sean Doohan, Steve Quanborough, Andrew Driscoll, Michael McDowell, Tim Leyshon.
• 16/12/2006 – Amir Marzouk (A1) scored his 3,000th run Vs Kenthurst
• 12/1/2008 – Matt Dawson (A1) scored his 3,000th run.
• 15/2/2014 – Matt Jobson took our 37th hat-trick and only the second in A1 Grade in 63 years in his match figures of 5/60 Vs. Hornsby. The last time an A1 Hat-trick was taken was in 1974/75 by Ray McDonald against Mt Colah
• 28/3/2014 & 29/3/2014. A1 played the Final here after it was the backup ground to a saturated Berowra Oval. With the 2 best Association sides over the last decade we struggled to 81 on a difficult surface. We rolled ARL for 67 to win one of the great Grand Finals. James Makin also won his 3rd successive Final as Captain – a Club record. The Team was: James Makin (c), Gav Taylor, Ranga Ediriwickrama, Scott Henderson, Matt Spalding, Matt Jobson, Peter Stott, Sol Tomlinson, Brendan Ham, Stuart Newman, Riley Miedler.
