Blast Co-ordinators training

Cricket NSW is running a Blast (5 to 7 year olds) before their season starts. Details are:

  • Where:                   Edward Bennett Oval
  • Time:                     6.00 pm to 8.00 pm

Who should attend?

Coaches, Managers and interested parents. No need to register – just come along for your chance to be informed about what to expect this season.

The Academy – is coming

Our very popular Academy and skills sessions is fast approaching. More info will follow but as a guide:

  • Start date:
    • Boys – 11th October
    • Girls – 22th October
  • Times:
    • Christmas sessions – are run between 15th & 16th November
    • New Year sessions – are run between 25th & 1st February 2024

Skills Sessions

The hugely popular Skills sessions are offered to U8 to U15s\. They are free and our top Coaches run the sessions. Details will be advised shortly.

Merging historical data

One of the teething issues with the new PlayHQ system has been the inability to link your personal playing stats that were on the old MyCricket.

You can now link your historical stats so that they are not lost in the old system. To do this access PlayHQ via the following link – Merging MyCricket personal stats into PlayHQ

Association Junior Cricket Clinics (Sept / October)

The renowned Association Coaches’ Association is again running their cricket Clinics. The Coaches Association ís a not-for-profit organisation and the registration fee is affordable.

Details are:

Program 1 – Greenway Park

  • When:                    Wednesday 27th & Thursday 28th September 2023
  • Time:                     8.30 am to 2.00 pm each day
  • Where:                   Greenway Park, Cherrybrook
  • Cost:                      $145 for one clinic with a $25 discount for each sibling
  • Who is welcome: boys & girls aged from 6 to 14 years

Program 2 – Mark Taylor Oval

  • When:                    Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th October 2023
  • Time:                     8.30 am to 2.00 pm each day
  • Where:                   Mark Taylor Oval, Waitara
  • Cost:                      as above
  • Who is welcome: as above

The Pathway for Girls this season is:

Friday (HK&HDCA)

  • All-Girls Blaster Hub (5 to 7 years + new to cricket / soft ball program) Friday Twilight hub at Thornleigh Oval
  • Stage 1 (7 to 11 years of age – new / a bit of experience) – Friday twilight Girls-only cricket (played in the Hornsby district)

Saturday (NSJCA)

  • Cricket Blast (5 to 7 year olds for boys & girls);
  • Stage 1 (a) – 7 to 11 years of age – new / a bit of experience. Saturday (played at local grounds and in the North Shore area
  • Stage 1(b) – 10 to 11 years. Saturday afternoon home & away hardball
  • Stage 2 & Stage 3 (ages 12 to 17 years of age)Saturday afternoon Girls-only competitive cricket.
