Girls Season Start

The Girls started their T20 Blast on Friday at James Henty Oval and the Sixers on Saturday.

Registrations

Registrations remain open all season but to play in the same Team as your friends please don’t delay registering. Once registered, you are guaranteed a game and in the Team of your choice.

Round Results

U13 Hills

WPHC 4/76 defeated Thornleigh 44 – a good first up win with the bowlers dominating. Aliya Colbert took 3/3 in just 1.3 overs, Trinity Newbury 1/2 and Olivia Lownds with 1/7 were the destroyers. The Girls then cruised to victory and finished with 4/76 in their 20 overs with Grace Keane the top scorer with 9 runs.

U15 Spring Comp

WPHC 3/56 lost to Gordon 5/61 – bowling first we kept Gordon to 61 in their 14 overs. Amy Hale with 3/4 (2 overs) was outstanding got good support from Jess Phillips 1/4 and Nicole Bennett with 1/11. In the batting we just fell short with Esha Tiwana and Jess Phillips both top scoring with 7 runs.

U17 Spring Comp

WPHC 7/83 defeated Castle Hill RSL 79 – batting first, we rolled CHRSL for 79 in 15 overs. Wickets were spread with 2 wickets to Lily Campbell, Lauren Kua and Kushi Arora. Well done also to Ellen Hall who chipped in with 1/3. In the batting, we got the runs in 18 overs with 7 wickets down. Best for us were Caroline Grobe with 13 and Amy Harkin 9.

Junior Boys

Round highlights

Our Juniors started up again on the weekend after a break for the School Holidays. We play through until 16 December and then have a break during the School holidays, returning on Saturday 27 January 2018.

Registrations are now closed.

Match Reports from the weekend Rounds are updated and can be seen on the Match Reports section of the website.

Highlights of the Round are:

  • Richard Hughes (C1) scored 109 – his first ton for us and the 464th in our History
  • Matt Digby (B2) took his 50th wicket last weekend
  • Steve Quanborough scored his first 50 after his 188 innings
  • Dave Behlevanas (C2), strapped up like a race horse got the bowling honours with 4/39 after 14 overs.

T20 Semi Finals

Congratulations to our 3 Teams that played and won their Semi Final last weekend. The following Teams play in the t20 Grand Final on 22 October:

  • 2nd Grade (A2 Red) Vs Berowra
  • 3rd Grade (B2 Red) Vs Berowra
  • 4th Grade (C2) Vs Sydney Lions

Details of the Grand Finals will be updated once they are available.
