Pink Stumps day

An early ‘Heads-up’ that our Pink Stumps Day, run by the U9s is going ahead on Saturday 11 March – the last day of the Junior Competition. This is a great day that involves our 5 Teams all playing at Oakhill Drive Public School. There will be a lot of information to follow that promotes this important event so keep a lookout over the next couple of weeks.

Juniors Boys

Round 11, Day 2 was on the weekend – the last Round before the Semi Finals / Kimbo Cup that starts next weekend.

Another record

Cameron Tunks (U12 Green) set a new Club U12 run scoring record last weekend to bring up an aggregate of 474 runs (average of 158.0), passing the old U12 record of 421 (average 105.25) set by Andrew Clarke in 1991/92. Batting restrictions and our Participation over Results policy makes Junior records difficult so this is a special achievement. To top off a great season, Cameron has also taken 9 wickets @ 7.67. What is also important is that Cameron set this record batting at various spots in the batting order. Well done Cameron.
