Welcome to 2026 – the Season ahead
The following timetable sets out the program for the season re-start:
- Seniors – underway (10/1)

Tapeball is here
Last Thursday we had an amazing introduction of Tapeball to our cricket offering with almost 100 participants at Greenway Park. Photos of the day show how much fun this great initiative was.

CNSW Community Awards 2025/26
Congratulations to Graham Chivers who won the prestigious ‘Cricket Blast Coordinator of the Year’ for his amazing efforts with Blast this season.
Along with his daughter, Danielle, they made significant changes to the Blast playing experience that has seen our Registrations increase from 58 in 2024/25 to 105 with more registrations being received so far this season.
Well done Graham and Danielle.


Registrations – 2026
BLAST (4 to 6 years)
Our pre-Christmas Blast program (4 to 6 years) comes to an end on Saturday 13th December. This season has been a great success with 100 boys and girls playing every Tuesday / Saturday.
Every game is an Event. There is Music, BBQ’s and lots of different activities with games going for just 1-hour.
We are now taking Registrations for Term 1 2026 that starts on Saturday 31st March with a weekly Tuesday playing option.

New Female All-Age Competition
CNSW is launching the new CNSW Inaugural Women’s Metropolitan Competition – an exciting new female pathways initiative for females 16 years of age and over.
We are inviting interest from current players, past players who wish to return to the game, and anyone looking for a welcoming club to continue their cricketing journey.
Competition Details: Cricket NSW Women’s Metropolitan Cup
- Season Start & End: Every Sunday starting 1st February 2026 finishing on 22nd March 2026
- Match Day: Sunday’s
- Cost: $100
- Pitch: Played on synthetic wickets
- Age Group: Open to players aged 16 and over
- Format: A combination of T20 and T30-over matches
- Holiday Break: A four-week break from 21st December 2025 to 11th January 2026.
- Semi-Finals: Sunday, late 2026 (TBC)
- Grand Final: Sunday, late March 2026 (TBC)
- Reserve Day: Sunday, late March 2026

Grading changes – effective 13 December 2025
Team Re-gradings
The Association SCC has finalised changes to team gradings. The movements/outcome is summarized below:
A-Reserve/B-Grade
WPHC Red (A2) will be move to B-Grade and Thornleigh (B1) will move up to A-Reserve
B-Grade/B-Reserve
Kenthurst Upper Hills (B1) will move to B-Reserve and St Ives Wahroonga (B2) will move up to B-Grade
C-Grade/C-Reserve
Hornsby District (C1) will move down to C-Reserve and with a tight/close competition in C-Reserve no team will be promoted to C-Grade. This will create a bye in both grades.
C-Reserve/C3-Grade
Kissing Point Blue (C2) will move down to C3-Grade and WPHC Blue (C3) will move up to C-Reserve
