Welcome to our new Head Coach
Our Head Coach, Connor Hindmarch is pursuing a number of great opportunities in both study (Master of Education) and bigger coaching roles. Connor has done an outstanding job over the last 2 years and as one of our Coaching team before that. Well done Connor.
Congratulations to our new Head Coach, Ben Burrows, who, like Connor, has progressed through our Coaching ranks to take on this important role.
Our Head Coach runs our important Schools Clinics, the Academy and the Skills sessions for our younger players (147 children last season). The riole also works closely with the Association and CNSW and is one of our ‘critical’ roles.
Welcome Ben and thanks Connor for your wonderful legacy.

Girls
Women’s Metropolitan Competition – New
Exciting News with CNSW announcing that they are establishing a new female cricket pathway’s competition for 2025-26. CNSW has advised:
“This competition is aimed at bridging the gap between local cricket and NSW Women’s Premier Cricket, increasing opportunities for female cricketers to play traditional cricket and leading to stronger player pathways and retention.
The competition will be open-age (U16 & Over) to allow maximum coverage and make it easier for clubs to expand and progress their female playing pool, importantly removing the ‘age group dead-end’ that currently exists in many areas. The competition is open to all clubs with a mix of 20 & 30 over games.”
Next steps
More information will follow but if you are 17 years and older and want to play competitive cricket (T20 / T30) and not Premier Grade cricket then this is a great option to start thinking about for you and your friends.
Stay tuned.

“I had a great day again, it was an absolute pleasure and you should be proud of how the team conducted themselves, clearly influenced by excellent coaching.
It is so nice to see the young players enjoying the game and doing so in the right way. They were so polite and there are some outstanding players.
Many of them would already hold their own in D Grade.”
