Administrative contribution
Girls Director – 2014-2019
During this time Graham developed a strong leadership Team that led to the growth of the Girls from 44 to 81 players. He also led a Girls program that had a significant level of retention and progression of players to Premier Cricket and higher levels (+80 girls).
In 2015/16, Graham was awarded our President’s Award for Service to our Club.

Graham was also a key adviser to CNSW in the restructuring of the Girls Competition that we see today.
In 2019, Graham stepped down as Girls Director and was involved with Northern District CC and actively supported their Premier Cricket Women’s Division in a Leadership role.
When Danielle, our Blast Director (2022-25) moved to the UK in 2025 to play cricket, Graham returned as Blast Director.
Blast Director 2025 to the present
Graham, with support from his daughter Danielle, refreshed the Cricket Blast experience and saw the registration numbers increase 58 (2024/25) to 109 (2025/26) – an amazing 88% increase.
Significant initiatives he introduced to Blast included: splitting the season into 2 x sections: before and after Christmas; changing the Blast program to more closely to align with the CA structured approach; the addition of music to the sessions; family BBQ every few Saturday sessions to make the experience even more fun; revamping the Coaching experience with 2 x roving Coaches providing hands on support.
In summary
Graham’s contribution goes back to 2011/12 when Dani played Kanga and then through to U9’s (2012/13) and all the way through to U17’s (2020/21) when Dani was a Blast Coach.
Graham is an innovator and his contribution to every role he has been involved in has been significant and left a lasting legacy.
His contribution as Blast Director is a standout. However, when looking at the number of Women who continued their involvement with cricket, beyond their playing days with West Penno, has been significant.
