- As a player he was a left-arm medium fast opening bowler and left-hand opening bat who was one of our toughest competitors on the field.

Keith was one of the key people who established the Junior Division within our Club when he led a ‘break-away’ from Pennant Hills CC to establish a West Penno Juniors Division drawing heavily on soccer players from the emerging WPH (now Lions) Soccer Club making him one of the founding fathers of Junior Cricket within our Club.
In 1969, Keith was one of the ‘Founding Fathers’ and Inaugural Treasurer of the West Pennant Hills Sports Club (not the Licensed Club). This was the first time major and emerging Sporting Clubs (Cricket, Basketball, Netball Soccer) operated as an entity for the betterment of sport in our District.
