- His most significant achievements are:
Covid Response
The most challenging administrative hurdle facing us in generations was during the Covid years between 2019/20 to 2012/22. During this time Buzz led our Juniors and also as a member of our Club Executive, through a period of great uncertainty. This involved delayed starts to the season, changes to the registration cycle and complying with Govt. safeguards.
Driving strategy and structural change
- Working with our Girls Directors to fully integrate the Girls into the Juniors (Mixed) to share administrative responsibilities. This work is ongoing and will provide a lasting legacy
- Restructuring the Juniors to create the role of 2 x Deputy Directors looking after U8 – U11 & U12 to U17. This has established a succession pathway for the Directors role and eased the administrative burden on the Director.
Association
Buzz has been one of our Association delegates since taking on the Juniors Director’s role (2019).
