Andrew Miedler – Association Life Member
Fantastic news with our Club Chair & President, Andrew Miedler, being Inducted as an Association Life Member at the AGM on 23 July 2026.
This is a wonderful achievement and it makes him just the 4th West Penno player to achieve this great honour. He joins, Jim Fuggle, Barry and Ross A in this list.
The driver was an amazing term as Association President (7 years) and also acknowledges his Club contribution as President (12 years).
During this time, he led the Association with distinction during one of the most challenging periods in our history – Covid, floods, drought and bushfires and let’s not forget the PlayHQ implementation that all caused major disruption to the competition including the cancellation of Finals just before the Covid lockdowns. Finally, as with all great Leaders, he builds great teams around him with great people – the ultimate measure of a true leader.
Well done Andrew on this great achievement.

Well done Lisa – ‘Power 50’ ranking in World cricket
We are proud to share that Lisa Sthalekar, one of our Junior players, has been ranked by CricExec as one of the ‘Power 50’ – the most influential Women in World Cricket – https://www.cricexec.com/whos-who/lisa-sthalekar/ .
Lisa is currently President of the ‘World Cricketers’ Association’ and is the first woman to lead this organisation.
She played Juniors with us from U10s to U16s in the days before we had a separate Girls competition. From U16s she started her pathway to becoming an elite world class player.
Lisa has never forgotten her time with us and talks openly about the impact of playing her early cricket with us had on her career.
Well done Lisa – we are very proud of your many achievements.

Well done Trisha Yadav (Dev) – Australian Captain
A big congratulations to Trisha Yadav (Dev) on being selected as Captain of the Australian U16 Girls Indoor Cricket Team following the Nationals in Melbourne in July. Trisha was also Captain of the winning NSW side.
Trisha has previously represented Australia in the U14 All-Stars (2024) & U16s (2025). She is now Captaining the Australian U16 side that is competing in the World Junior titles in South Africa during September.
We have had 8 players represent Australia in our History including 2 of the all-time greats of Women’s world cricket, Lisa Sthalekar & Denise Annetts. Check out our photo Gallery dedicated to our Australia Representatives – Australian Representatives
Trisha is now just the 2nd West Penno player to Captain an Australian side and joins Lisa Sthalekar in this exalted position.
Well done Trisha.

Life Member – Graham Chivers #28
Graham’s contribution goes back to 2011/12 when Danni played Kanga and then through to U9’s (2012/13) and all the way through to U17’s (2020/21) when Dani was a Blast Coach.
Graham is an innovator and his contribution to every role he has been involved in has been significant and left a lasting legacy.
His contribution as Blast Director is a standout. However, when looking at the number of Women who continued their involvement with cricket, beyond their playing days with West Penno, has been significant.
Thank you, Graham for you amazing contribution.
