Nepal flood disaster
As advised on Meta on Friday, 2 of our Seniors players, Rishab and Rudhra Iyer, along with their family members and other Australians, are unaccounted for in the ongoing floods in Nepal. I know our B2 Team is doing it tough right now so keep them in your thoughts also.
We now understand that another of our families is unaccounted-for – the Muralitharan family. The 2 sons, Aarush (U12) and Ashwin (U15) are both registered to play this season and are now also advised as being unaccounted-for. Please also keep the teammates of Ashwin and Aarush in your thoughts.
At this early stage, no news is good news, they may all be safe and well and the only issue is communication.
We continue to live in hope, and our thoughts are currently with them, their loved ones and all affected by this tragedy in Nepal.
