Registrations for 2026/27 – are now OPEN

Once registered you are locked in for the 2026/27 season. This covers:

• Cricket Blast (4 to 6 years of age)
• Girls and Female All-Age
• Juniors Mixed (7 to 16 years)
• Seniors All-Age

As registrations close once Teams are full it is a comfort to know that a spot is guaranteed once registered.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Details of our Club AGM is:

• When:    Tuesday 23^rd June
• Where:   WPH Sports Club (Cedar Room)
• Time:     7.30 pm

All registered WPHC Members (registered players & volunteers and family members) are welcome. Please note that only registered players & volunteers are eligible to vote.

As this marks the beginning of the 2026/27 season, it is the most important meeting of the year that elects our Leaders and sets direction for the coming season.

Election of Executive Committee Members

The election of our Club Leadership is at this meeting. Nominations (Proposed & Seconded) for all Executive positions are welcome. The positions up for election are: WPHC Executive Committee

Association

Association Coaches’ Association School Holiday Junior Cricket Clinic

Registrations are open for the renowned Coaches’ Association / Northern District CC school holiday Junior cricket (2-day) clinic.

Details are:

• When:   Wednesday 15^th & Thursday 16^th July 2026
• Where: Mark Taylor Oval, Waitara
• Time: 8.30am – 2.00pm each day
• Cost:
  • $160.00 single registration ($140.00 if you already have the Clinic clothing)
  • $295.00 – sibling registration ($265.00 as above)

Eligibility

The Clinics enter their 17^th season of sold-out programs.

It is designed for boys and girls aged from 6 – 14 years. They cater for all standards from beginners to representative level players.

Hall of Fame

A highlight of the Seniors Presentation Night (8^th May) was the Induction of our ‘Hall of Fame’ Members with a special reverse colour commemorative baggy.

Our West Penno greats came from all over NSW with their families to be acknowledged for their amazing contribution.

There will be pizza’s and canapes. Other special dietary requirements (e.g.; vegetarian and certain meats) will be available – within reason.

As the Vicar adjoins a pub it will be easy for anyone who wants something more substantial to get this themselves.

Our ‘Night of Nights’ was held at The Vicar on Friday night, 8^th May 2026.

Congratulations to our major Award winners for the 2025/26 season:

Player of the Year

Luke Tabone (C4 Blue) who scored 836 runs at 83.6 including a double ton. This is also the 5^th highest season aggregate in our history at the 2^nd best average

Outstanding Prospect

Daniel Fagg (A2 / B1) who took 20 wickets @ 20.0 and also scored important runs under pressure
